This exciting post is an opportunity to advise and support sport and recreation organisations in England. You will deliver training, support with the safeguarding assurance process through Framework reviews, and kindle relationships across the sector. The successful candidate will ensure that the sports sector is addressing the safeguarding of all adults in sport. You will also offer safeguarding advice, information, and support.
Candidates should have a relevant professional qualification and/or substantial vocational experience. You should have good communication and organisational skills as well as experience of influencing strategic partners and stakeholders. You should also have a proven track record of working with adults, along with up to date knowledge of safeguarding adults approaches. Ideally, you will also have knowledge of the sport sector in England.
This post is part time (21.75 hours per week) on a fixed term contract to 31 March 2027. You can work from home, but you will occasionally need to travel across England, including to the Ann Craft Trust offices in Nottingham, to support the delivery of the contract. This may include some overnight stays and some evening work.
