Did you know that disabled children and young people are 3.4 times more likely to experience abuse?

It is believed that 60% of people with learning disabilities are abused at some point in their lives.

Even a small donation of £5 will help us:

  • Continue our research into key issues such as the Forced Marriage of people with learning disabilities, domestic abuse and disability hate crime.
  • Develop new and pioneering training for organisations who work with children and young people with disabilities and adults at risk.
  • Raise awareness of the key issues of disability hate crime, child sexual exploitation (CSE) and financial abuse.

Gift Aid

The Government allows charities to claim back tax on donations. This tax relief is called ‘Gift Aid’. Gift Aid is great because it means charities get extra money added to their donations at no extra cost to the donor. For every £1 donated, the charity currently receives £1.25 when you add Gift Aid.

The Charities Aid Foundation,
Head Office,
Kings Hill,

Alternatly email to . They will remove any reference to The Ann Craft Trust and return the form minus recipient information to your employer’s payroll.

Donations and gifts have been important in supporting the Ann Craft Trust to make society a safer place. This will make a real difference to our work and enable us to continue to safeguard children and adults with learning disabilities. If you would like to discuss this further please contact us on 0115 951 5400. If you would like to make a donation in another way or if you would like to discuss leaving money to ACT in your will, please contact us.
