Your donation will help us to keep people safe from abuse.

Our work is dedicated to key issues affecting adults and young people at risk including forced marriage, financial abuse, sexual exploitation and disability hate crime. Your donation will help fund essential research, training and consultation to recognise, understand, and address these issues.

Even a small donation of £5 will help us:

  • Continue our research into key issues such as the Forced Marriage of people with learning disabilities, domestic abuse and disability hate crime.
  • Develop new and pioneering training for organisations who work with children and young people with disabilities and adults at risk.
  • Raise awareness of the key issues of disability hate crime, child sexual exploitation (CSE) and financial abuse.

Gift Aid

The Government allows charities to claim back tax on donations. This tax relief is called ‘Gift Aid’. It means we’ll receive more funds from your donation at no extra cost to you. With Gift Aid, for every £1 donated, the charity currently receives £1.25.

Give as You Earn

Payroll Giving giving is an easy way for you to donate. It provides a vital source of funding to the Ann Craft Trust, giving us a regular income and allowing us to plan for the future. Giving direct from your pay is also tax free. For example, if you pledge £10 from your gross salary each month, it will only cost you £8.00. But thanks to the taxman, the charity gets £10.

If you would like to give as you earn to the Ann Craft Trust, please complete the ‘Give As You Earn’ form and pass it to your payroll department for processing. If you do not wish your employer to know to which charity you are donating, please send the completed form to:

The Charities Aid Foundation,
Head Office,
Kings Hill,
West Malling,
Kent
ME19 4TA

Alternatively, email to giveasyouearn@CAFonline.org . They will remove any reference to The Ann Craft Trust and return the form minus recipient information to your employer’s payroll.

This will make a real difference to our work and enable us to continue to safeguard young people and adults at risk. If you would like to discuss this further please contact us on 0115 951 5400. If you would like to make a donation in another way or if you would like to discuss leaving money to ACT in your will, please contact us.
