The Safeguarding Adults in Sport Framework Undergoes a Makeover!

Safeguarding Adults in Sport Framework

Some of you will have noticed that the Framework portal has been refreshed.

At the start of February, we migrated all Framework submissions completed since April 2022 onto a more efficient and robust operating system.

Previously we had to rely on an external provider if we wanted to make any changes to the Framework. This new system makes it easier to manage the process ourselves. This is in areas such as criteria changes (there won’t be any until after March 2027, don’t worry). Also, it’s now much more straightforward for us to update key aspects such as FAQs and email notifications.

Another major update: Previously, you had to wait for us to email you with your final report. With this new system, once we’ve reviewed your Framework submission, you’ll get an automatic notification that your report is ready to view.

From a data perspective, this new system will give us some useful insights, too. For example, we can see what sort of criteria organisations regularly meet, along with the areas that commonly need a bit more work. We also think you’ll like seeing those percentages of red, amber and green at the top of the report.

Access the new Framework portal link here.

You can also access the main Framework page here.

While your old login details will still work, we suggest you familiarise yourself with the new system and change your password accordingly.

As with all IT improvements and transitions, there are still one or two areas to iron out. So don’t hesitate to contact us should you have any concerns.

If you haven’t yet completed the Framework, our next Framework information session is on Wednesday 6 May.
