Celebrating organisations that are making a difference
Safeguarding Adults Week is about sharing learning, celebrating good practice, and promoting resources that help create safer cultures for
adults.
Below are a range of free resources from our partners, including videos, toolkits, blogs, and podcasts.
We’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of the individuals and organisations who supported us during Safeguarding Adults Week and our annual Safeguarding Adults Conference, with seminars, webinars, workshops, and more.
My Marriage, My Choice
My Marriage My Choice started as a research project involving social work researchers at the University of Nottingham. It developed into an online space providing information and resources to people with learning disabilities, along with their friends and carers, and people working with them. It is also a useful space for anyone interested in learning more about forced and unlawful marriage.

The Office of the Public Guardian works with partners and organisations across England and Wales to help more people understand lasting powers of attorney, and the importance of planning for the future.
To support this work, they have created a toolkit of free resources.
The toolkit includes leaflets, videos, social media content, graphics, and other communications materials.
