Rosalind Smith, an Ann Craft Trust associate trainer, ran a workshop exploring Safeguarding Adults Reviews (SARs) at the 2025 Safeguarding Adults Conference.
The session explained what a SAR is, and how and when one might be used. The workshop also highlighted how the legislation concerning reviews differs in England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland.
Ros also discussed Multi-Agency Risk Management (MARM) and explored how different people might learn different lessons from reviews. The session demonstrated how we can share potential insights from reviews with our wider networks.
