Introducing Molly Fuller – Ann Craft Trust Marketing Intern

Molly Fuller Student Intern

Second year University of Nottingham Geography student Molly Fuller has just started a marketing internship at The Ann Craft Trust. We asked her to write a short blog to introduce herself.

Hello! I am Molly and I have recently joined the Ann Craft Trust as a Marketing Intern. I am excited to be working with the charity and contributing to the work the marketing team does to protect adults across the UK.

The Ann Craft Trust appealed to me because of the positive impact of its work, particularly through events such as Safeguarding Adults Week. Being able to contribute to a cause that protects people is something I value and find very rewarding. The Trust’s values of respect and dignity in the pursuit of keeping everybody safe reflects my own priorities. Using marketing and communication to raise awareness and improve safeguarding training therefore felt like a great way for me to develop my skills, while supporting important work.

Safeguarding Training

Previously, I worked in a primary school at an after-school club, where I went through safeguarding training. From this experience, I learnt the importance of knowledge and awareness in providing effective safeguarding practice. This experience also allowed me to build trust with the children, which made me passionate about helping and protecting others. I am keen to extend the knowledge I gained in this training to the safeguarding of adults, to make a meaningful contribution to this.

Recently, due to my interest in marketing I have joined the Digital Marketing Academy through the University of Nottingham. This has involved the completion of online courses, covering topics such as social media content creation, campaign planning and marketing strategy. I look forward to applying and developing these skills at the Ann Craft Trust, using them to help raise awareness of safeguarding issues and support the work the organisation does.
