Over the past six months we have being working on a project funded by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport and the National Lottery, to produce key guidance and resources on safeguarding.
We have really enjoyed working alongside partner organisations such as NCVO, UK Youth, Children England, NSPCC and many more, to combine our expertise and develop resources about good safeguarding practice.
Whether you are creating a safeguarding policy for the first time, or looking to develop your existing safeguarding provision, we hope that these resources will guide you through the journey to creating a safer environment for all. The full suite of resources produced by the project are available for free.
As part of the project, the Ann Craft Trust have been working on the Safeguarding Adults Checklist. The checklist is quick and easy to complete and will enable you or your organisation to assess your own understanding of safeguarding and gain access to essential resources.
The checklist covers the Safeguarding, Prevention, Recognition, Reporting & Recording and Reviewing processes. On completion, you will receive a tailored report with the responses and a unique link to additional learning resources and materials, allowing you to have the right safeguarding measures in place for adults.
