Keeping people safe in sport is vital if we want to encourage participation and inclusion. The Ann Craft Trust has been working with the sport and activity sector for a number of years, raising safeguarding standards to make sport as safe and accessible for as many people as possible.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Safeguarding Adults in Sport Team based at Sport Wales in Cardiff. You will be responsible for contributing to the safeguarding adults in sport agenda in Wales. You will work with colleagues in ACT who have dedicated roles in sport safeguarding funded by Sport England and UK Sport, so there will be ample opportunity for collaborating with the rest of the team.

This is currently a temporary role (January to March 2020) to complete our existing contract with Sport Wales. While the role is currently only for three months, we are hoping to re-tender in 2020 for further investment in order to continue this vital work.

We are flexible as to how we deliver in Wales and would welcome the opportunity to discuss options to deliver this short term contract. If you would like to know more about the work in Wales, then please contact Deborah Kitson.
