We are looking for committed individuals that have an interest in safeguarding to join the Ann Craft Trust Board of Trustees.
This exciting voluntary opportunity will allow you to shape the strategic direction of the charity and work towards our aim of acting against abuse to safeguard disabled young people and adults at risk.
As a trustee, you will be required to participate in management committee meetings which take place four times a year on a weekday at the University of Nottingham and the annual general meeting for the charity in November. Travel expenses will be reimbursed.
To ensure the board of trustees is best able to support the work of the Ann Craft Trust, we are looking for people who have skills and experiences in one or more of the following areas:
- Experience of running a voluntary organisation
- Knowledge of the vulnerability of people with learning disabilities (professionally or as a family member)
- Knowledge of safeguarding
- Providing financial returns to the Charity Commission
- Business experience
