How have organisations prioritised safeguarding adults?

After the AGM, we will be joined by Open Door, a charity that helps young people who do not have the financial support or resources to gain a place at one of the UK’s leading drama schools. Richard Neale will discuss how they’ve been working with the Ann Craft Trust to embed safeguarding adults into UK drama schools.

Next, Sara Bird, National Safeguarding Lead at the National Trust, will share what safeguarding looks like in the Trust. Sara will discuss how the National Trust support Safeguarding Adults Week and how they’ve developed their safeguarding culture.

There will be an opportunity to ask questions, and reflect on the successes and challenges of prioritising safeguarding adults within your organisation.
