From responding to student welfare concerns and harassment to supporting apprenticeships, placements and young adults, safeguarding has become a core responsibility across the sector.
At the Ann Craft Trust, we work alongside universities, colleges and other education providers to strengthen safeguarding practice, build staff confidence and create safer environments for students and staff.
Through specialist training, sector-leading resources and our growing Higher Education Network, we help organisations move beyond compliance and develop effective, person-centred safeguarding approaches.

The Safeguarding in Higher Education Network is a free, UK-wide community of safeguarding professionals, co-chaired by the Ann Craft Trust alongside colleagues from the Universities of Nottingham and Westminster.
Meeting quarterly, the network provides a supportive, non-competitive space where safeguarding leads can openly discuss emerging challenges and share good practice.
Whether you are developing safeguarding provision for the first time or looking to strengthen existing practice, we can support your institution through specialist training, resources, audits and reviews.
Get in touch to discuss your safeguarding goals and explore how we can support your organisation.
