Domestic Abuse Covid 19

This online seminar is now fully booked. We will be organising a follow up seminar over the next week and details will be available on our website and social media.

Join us for a free online safeguarding seminar focusing on domestic abuse during the Covid-19 lockdown.

This is the first in a series of dedicated online seminars. Our team will address questions and topics raised by our community online. Our aim is to find solutions together for all your safeguarding needs.

The first seminar will focus on domestic abuse during the Covid-19 lockdown. Official government advice is to stay at home. But what if home is not a safe place?

One of our Safeguarding Adults specialists will lead the discussion with a specially-prepared presentation. There’ll then be time for questions.

The whole session should take around 40 minutes. The seminar is free to join. Just register for your place below, and we’ll be in touch with instructions on how to join.

What Other Safeguarding Issues Can We Talk About?

Changes in legislation and the current lockdown will pose a challenge for any safeguarding champions. So every Wednesday we will host a dedicated safeguarding hour on Twitter. This is an opportunity to ask questions and get the support from the wider safeguarding community online. To join in, just use the hashtag #ACTSafeguardingHour.
