Save the Date: Let’s Start Talking – Taking The Lead on Safer Cultures in Your Organisation

Creating a safer organisational culture is vital in promoting the wellbeing of staff, volunteers and the people they support.  It is important that organisations create environments where everyone is confident their concerns are welcomed, listened to and addressed appropriately.

What will the workshop include?

In this workshop, Laura Thorpe, Safeguarding Adults Manager at the Ann Craft Trust, will explain what we mean by safer cultures. Laura will set-out what makes a safer organisational culture and why it’s important for organisations to encourage continuous learning and reflection.

The workshop will provide participants with the space to reflect on the culture within their organisation. In preparation for the session, you may wish to consider:

  • What is working well within your organisation?
  • What are the challenges within your organisation?
  • What three things would you change within your organisation?

The workshop will take place online on Tuesday 21 November, from 10-11am.
