This course covers the essentials for safeguarding adults at risk in sport and activity for anyone with direct responsibility for a participant’s welfare.

With a focus on ensuring sports and activities are safe for all adults we cover issues including what is safeguarding? Recognising abuse and your roles and responsibilities when responding to concerns.  We use a mix of training methods including input from our expert trainers, group work and the opportunity to share and learn with others who work or volunteer in sport.

This is a 3 hour course – currently delivered as two 1.5 hour online sessions.  A certificate of attendance will be issued to those attending both parts of the course.
