This course will familiarise you with common mental health needs related to work, such as stress, depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
You will learn:
- Active listening techniques.
- How to provide suggestions while also empowering the individual to make their own decisions.
- The laws that apply to mental health in the workplace.
- How to assist with making the workplace environment better for both employers and employees.

The Qualification
The QA Level 3 Award in Mental Health First Aid in the Workplace (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification for anyone who would like to become a Mental Health First Aider in their workplace.
This qualification raises learners’ awareness of mental health while developing an understanding on how to support, reassure and signpost fellow colleagues to professional support.
Upon successfully completing the course, you’ll receive a personalised QA Level 3 Award in Mental Health First Aid in the Workplace (RQF) e-Certificate. We can also provide a printed certificate for a small extra cost.
You’ll also receive your own Qualsafe Mental Health First Aid workbook. After you sign up we’ll post your book to you a week before the start of your course.
Assessment
On day two of the course you’ll take an online Theory Assessment multiple-choice test.
