It Could Never Happen Here!

This publication is aimed at anyone who is involved with caring for people with learning disabilities. This includes families, friends and others who may become involved as a result of an allegation. It contains general guidance on sexual abuse for purchasers, inspectors and providers, information on legal issues and the nature of consent, models for a local Adult Protection Committee, investigation and monitoring systems, advice in dealing with unusual and difficult situations and much more.
