Seminar series
Due to demand and in light of recent inquiries and initiatives ACT has developed an open training seminar series looking at safeguarding disabled children and vulnerable adults. These seminars will be of interest to all professionals working with disabled children and vulnerable adults in the statutory, independent and voluntary sectors.
The seminar series will include topics on:

- Applying the New Safeguarding Disabled Children Practice Guidance – 14th July 2010
- Managing Transitions - 9th September 2010
- Supporting Parents with Learning Disabilities – 14th September 2010
All seminars to be held at the University of Nottingham.
The seminars will be designed so that you can attend one or all of the series. The courses have been individually tailored to look at issues from the birth of the child right through to transitions, adult hood and supporting parents with learning disabilities.
