Biography

Charlie Heywood - BA Hons Marketing Management

Charlie spent four years at University studying Marketing Management. During her placement year she worked as a Marketing Assistant, a Purchasing Assistant and in Fashion Retail Management. She continued to work in Fashion Retail Management during her final year at University as this enabled her to use the business as a real life case study for her research.

After finishing University in 2005 Charlie moved to Newcastle and worked for a Council initiative entitled 'Reviving the Heart of the West End ' (RHWE ltd). This was an initiative designed to regenerate the west end of Newcastle by creating employment opportunities for the community.

In June 2006 Charlie moved back to Nottingham to pursue her marketing career and started working as Development Officer for the Ann Craft Trust. Charlie is responsible for developing the Trust's profile by researching, developing and implementing a new marketing strategy and she is also responsible for co-ordinating all training activities.
