About Us
Safety Focus Partnership is a unique alliance of Key Organisations working with Disabled People to:
Give improved service
Improve protection, safety and re-assurance
Supporting disabled people through our partnership
Promoting learning and development using the Safety Focus Methodology to reduce and prevent crime.
The Safety Focus Partnership will seek the knowledge and experience of disabled people to make the way we work better.
Partners
Ann Craft Trust
The Ann Craft Trust is a national charity working with staff in the statutory, independent and voluntary sectors to safeguard children and adults with learning disabilities who may be at risk from abuse.
Nottinghamshire County Council
Nottinghamshire County Council provides a wide range of services including: social care for children and adults, education, leisure services, services to improve our environment and traffic and travel services.
Nottingham Mencap
Nottingham Mencap is an independent local Voluntary and Community Charity Organisation, dedicated to the service of people with a learning disability or difficulty, and their families and carers, living in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.
Nottinghamshire Police
Nottinghamshire Police plays an important role in fighting crime, protecting people and promoting law and order in Nottinghamshire. Their business is to help make Nottinghamshire a safer, better place to live, work and visit, and they do this in partnership with other organisations and local communities across the county.
Portland College
Portland College is a national specialist residential college for a wide range of people with physical disabilities. It is one of the foremost colleges of its type in the United Kingdom, providing first class education and vocational training for up to 300 stuidents aged 16 upwards.
Voice UK
Voice UK are a national charity supporting people with learning disabilities and other vulnerable people who have experienced crime or abuse. We also support their families, carers and professional workers.
