We at ACT are thrilled that influential women in sport are being recognised and are delighted to see Annamarie Phelps CBE was included on the list.

Annamarie is the current Chair of British Rowing and Vice Chair of the British Olympic Association, is a member of the recent independent review into British Cycling and was a member of the expert panel that supported Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson with her independent Duty of Care in Sport Review.

In addition to this work we feel very lucky that Annamarie brings her considerable skills and knowledge to her role as a member of the national Safeguarding Adults in Sport Steering Group. Annamarie was the opening speaker at the recent ACT Safeguarding Adults in Sport Seminar when she outlined the organisational responsibilities in sport to safeguarding adults, from board to club level.
